Symposia

The knowledge on permanence, accessibility and reuse of digital research material is constantly growing. DANS stimulates this growth by, among others, organising symposia. These are intended to provide an opportunity to discuss and exchange knowledge on collecting, documenting, using and archiving data. The themes of DANS symposia are selected from various fields of research:

• sociological research methods
• image collections in education
• love emblems
• housing research
• geographic information systems
• national census data

The symposia are free of charge to any interested parties and are organised together with experts in the fields of the arts and humanities and the social sciences.
