EU status for CLARIN

The European Commission has given a major boost to research project Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure for the Humanities and Social Sciences (CLARIN) by the award of an EU status.

1 million euros 'seed capital' for CLARIAH

New release research WoON 2009

A new release of the WoON research over 2009 is available in EASY. This version (1.4) contains new variables and corrections to existing variables.


Data available from more countries ESS 2010/2011

In 2010/2011 the fifth round of the European Social Survey was held. Late 2011 data from the first 20 countries were published. Currently the data and documentation from another six countries (Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Slovakia, Ukraine) are also accessible via the ESS website.


First CARARE datasets in Europeana

The first CARARE dataset was successfully published by Europeana. The publication follows two years’ work on data preparation, the creation of a CARARE metadata schema tailored towards archaeological content and establishing the technology for a complete harvesting, aggregation and ingestion service.
