The data collection at DANS is continually enriched with acquisitions from recent surveys and research projects, by way of active cooperation with a number of partners.

	Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research - NWO Data agreements are entered into for newly awarded research projects, in close cooperation with the Divisions for Social Sciences (MaGW) and Humanities (GW). 	Data policy-oriented research national government - ARVODI regulation Based on new agreements, ministries are obliged to store data resulting from policy-oriented research at DANS. 	Statistics Netherlands There is an agreement between Statistics Netherlands and DANS concerning the availability free of charge of a large number of micro files with data on persons and households for scientific research. DANS EASY contains data and metadata for a few hundreds of files of Statistics Netherlands. 	The Netherlands Institute for Social Research - SCP The Netherlands Institute for Social Research is the scientific institute in the area of the social and cultural matters. It conducts independent research and reports to the government, parliament, ministries, as well as to other social and government organizations. A large number of research files areavailable through DANS for further scientific research. DANS EASY contains data and metadata for a few hundreds of the SCP’s files. 	Dutch Foundation for Electoral Research - SKON The Dutch Foundation for Electoral Research (SKON) is an inter-university alliance toward the end of carrying out national electoral research. These studies collect data that enable researchers in the Netherlands and elsewhere to conduct (longitudinal) research into electoral phenomena. 	Rijnland District Water Control Board The Rijnland District Water Control Board stores its digital collection of cartographic documents and technical drawings from the period 1457-1857 at DANS. This is done with an eye to the safe and durable archiving of these image banks. It is possible to consult these image banks via the water board’s web site. 	University of Amsterdam - Digital Production Center - DPC The DPC offers support to researchers and knowledge organizations for creating electronic publications and databases, making them available and storing them. 	Cultural Heritage Agency The Cultural Heritage Agency is the knowledge institute for archaeology, monuments and the cultural landscape of the Netherlands. The Agency uses this knowledge for legislation and regulations for heritage protection and development. Regarding archeology, any digital documentation created during an investigation has to be stored in the Dutch archaeology e-depot EDNA for the long term. 	National Archive The National Archive serves as national memory. It manages the archives of the national government, as well as of social organizations and individuals that are or have been of national importance. In addition, the National Archive possesses a large collection of photographs and historic maps. The National Archive has an important public function and for example functions as national and international knowledge center in the area of archivistics. 	Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute - KNMI KNMI is the national institute for weather, climate and seismology in the Netherlands. It supplies weather information regarding safety, economy and the environment to the general public, the government, and the aviation and shipping sector. For long-term developments, KNMI carries out climate change research. One of KNMI’s core activities is to make its knowledge, data and information available to third parties. The institute is an agency of the Ministry of the Transport, Public Works and Water Management.
