From 19 to 23 October 2009, the first national Open Access Week took place as a plea to making research results freely accessible and available to everyone. All sorts of activities and meetings took place at the Dutch universities that week. DANS saw the Open Access Week as a chance to call attention to the importance of research data within striving towards free availability, an aspect not always spontaneously taken into account in discussions on Open Access. It involved the Open Data Speakers Corner, a special web site to have discussions on Open Data from a different angle each day of that week. A large number of managers, researchers and well known other parties stepped onto the virtual soapbox, resulting in animated discussions. This booklet contains a printed version.
