This report provides an overview of the data infrastructure in the Netherlands on language and text data. Language and text sciences form an extremely broad and diverse discipline. There are considerable differences in the needs of linguistic and textual scholars. An important conclusion of this report is that there exists a wide variety in existing facilities in terms of data infrastructure. It is noted that for an important part of the language and especially the more individualistic literary research there is currently no existing infrastructure available. This study demonstrates the need for a unified, sustainable access to language and text resources in the Netherlands and DANS plays an important role in this.
