By means of organising symposia, DANS attempts to stimulate the debate on data collection and the developments in know-how in the field of data collection, data analysis, data documentation and data archiving. These symposia are free to all who are interested and are organised with the aid of experts in the fields of the arts and humanities and social sciences.
